Jeff Patton, author of “User Story Mapping, Discover the Whole Story, Build the Right Product” is offering a limited number of public training classes in the United States in 2018.
Jeff spends a lot of time training and consulting in Europe and Australia. To meet the demand for training he has here in the United States, we have scheduled two public training classes this spring: one in San Francisco and one in New York City. At this time, we do not have him scheduled to teach in the United States again in 2018. That could change! (Hey, anything can happen). If you are hoping to become a Successful Product Owner and to get your Certified Scrum Product Owner certificate, register now for one of Jeff’s public classes here in the US.
Jeff Patton’s Approach to Successful Product Ownership
Product ownership is one of the most critical and most difficult roles in an agile process. Too often organizations adopting agile approaches and Scrum are lead to believe a single person in a product owner role is responsible for making all the decisions about the product – down to the last detail. The result is a stressed, overworked product owner that’s become a bottleneck for everyone else in the organization. Others with critical input and valuable skills are often shut out of the process. In the end, the product being built gets worse, and people in the company are less happy than ever before. But that’s not the way agile development is supposed to work. Jeff’s class provides an approach to agile product ownership that does work.
Jeff’s Approach to the Certified Scrum Product Owner Class
First, let’s call it what Jeff prefers to call it, the “Passionate Product Owner” Class. Jeff is a self-professed passionate product owner and when he teaches this class, he brings that attitude with him. There are many benefits to taking Jeff’s class over the other CSPO classes out there. Learn more here: Learn
